Oh my goodness, I am currently obsessed with royal blue and the bright neon color block trends! So instead of talking about the "little BLACK dress", I will embrace the indigo and feature the "little BLUE dress".

Pictured below is the Gianni Bini "Penelope"dress found at Dillards ($138, sizes 2-14). I know sometimes it can be hard to justify spending $140 on one dress but you can do so much with this color & style! It is beautiful by itself, or you can always add a cardigan, blazer or tights to give it a different look.

Try pairing it with some of these:

Halogen® Three Quarter Sleeve Crewneck Cardigan in Green (Nordstroms $46)

OR

Bunched Sleeve Blazer in Bright Melon (Forever 21 $27.80)

As always, you don't have to use bold colors. You can always play it safe with a classic black or white or even a light gray.

Now for my plus size selection for the fabulous "little blue dress"! Don't you think I would ever forget about the curvy girls!

I am so in love with this bat wing sleeved dress from Target (only $29.99)! Keep in mind you can always replace the thin black belt with a fun colored belt. As you know, I'm all about the bold colors!

For those of you girls who are not fans of the short dresses ( I know I'm not a huge fan), you can always put a pair of leggings underneath it. I would suggest black, it makes the leg look slimmer. But if you are a curvy girl and love your legs, flaunt what you got!!

Of course no "little blue dress" is complete without an AMAZING pair of heels!
